Who We Are

About Us

We are a newly formed organisation of Bengali-run business establishments including credible business organizations from diverse sectors. The intention is to bring together Bengali business houses from all over the world to develop camaraderie and trust and imbibe the sense of entrepreneurship in the Bengali community. For the first time in recent history, Bengalis have come together to form a council of their own to foster entrepreneurship and networking amongst themselves and to further entrepreneurial cultivation in the Bengali youth.

Objectives

What we set out to do

Education programmes & public awareness campaigns to achieve the mission

Build relationships for credible vendor-sourcing and business development within the council

Build a credible referral culture enabling members' business development through linkages outside the council

Advocacy through government channels and other industry bodies

Public relations and media management for propagating the council's activities

Manage secretarial affairs for the benefit of the organization and its members

To nurture the revival and growth of entrepreneurship and be the unified voice of the Bengali business community.

Mission

To foster the growth and development of businesses run by Bengalis by raising awareness, camaraderie and brotherhood amongst its members and their larger network — cultivating the spirit of enterprise, ensuring the perpetuity of Bengali family enterprises, and through mentorship and funding of ventures — to revive the renown of Bengalis as a premier business community and pave the way for nation-building.
